I was about to say I never wrote a review for TJR hahaha.

TJR is beautiful, love the leads and the guitar tones. And the BLASTS

I also really like RTR, STYE, CC and ASOP. All great and under appreciated

RTR and CC are solid 3.5s with a big nostalgia factor, STYE and ASOP are still good 3.0s with minor nostalgia.

Come Clarity and Siren Charms are the only post-Clayman albums I jammed; the former cuz I heard tracks from it and liked them more than other modern IF material at that time, the latter out of some curiosity...

CC was my first In Flames so yea there's nostalgia, but I really love the atmosphere and the leads are pretty much on point through the whole thing. Also STYE makes me feel like I'm inside a dream

In Flames is alright but next to DT they are pretty flat, I think DT riffs harder despite being the more melo band.

Old in flames is amazing, you're wrong.


But dark tranquility is obviously way better overall, in flames has been garbage for like a decade and a half.

I really like In Flames all the way up through A Sense of Purpose. Of course The Lunar Strain --> Whoracle is their best string of work, Subterranean included.
