Love this band, their style of math/grind/metal/hard/whatevercore is amazing and fun to listen to. Great review as well, although a tad bit biased.

scenecore
if I may quote Heavy Heavy Low Low from their song "Tell Shannon" which takes riffs from Fear Before the March of Flames and #12 looks like you and dumbs them down (all heard within the first 41 seconds)...
OH, SHIT, FUCK
OH, SHIT, FUCK
OH, SHIT, FUCK

I used to listen to HHLL because some of my friends thought they were sick. Their older stuff flowed pretty well i think the EP was called "fuck it" or something along those lines and i still think its dope./ I bought this new cd and found it quite tiresome. The songs just aren't as catchy and the absence of the other singer sort of changed their music for me. There are a few decent tracks but i wouldn't recommend buying it, definitely not something you'll listen to over and over again.

The track name is "Tell Shannon her crafts are ready", but you were close. And that's my favorite song of theirs, minus the breakdown. This Message Edited On 11.28.07

okay honestly, if you like that song, I could easily see you loving the album "Fear Before the March of Flames - Art Damage"
I suggest you check it out, mainly because it is exponentially better.

Not a fan of HHLL.
I saw them live last spring, and they had good energy and sound.
Later I decided to buy EWEW. BIG MISTAKE. waste of money.

Tell Shannon... is the best song they ever made, and it's sick as hell live.

The album is a good listen. it has a good flow, too. the only problem that i've seen with Heavy Heavy Low Low is they sort of confuse people that havent listened to them before live. all the off beats and wierd structures of their breakdowns are incomprehensible to move to if you havent heard them before. the people that knew it were really into it, and the people that hadn't were like, "wtf is going on?".
