Vocals on this are terrible amongst other things, but I give it some respect because it was one of the first BM albums I heard.

I prefer the old school Immortal to this, but good last effort though.

Well, for starters Immortal's first two albums, especially Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism are much better.

Those Ridiculous BM pictures are boring... You can do that with any band, in the end.
Personally, 'SoND' is Immortal's most over-rated album... It doesn't do it for me, it's not fast enough, it's not heavy enough... It's a decent album, but by no means one of their best.
