Yeah definitely not brutal death metal.

I'm not one to have my head up a bands ass, but this is a damn near perfect album! Definately the best DT album. But sorry guys I still prefer Slaughter of the Soul as best melodeath album, for the sheer raw sound and aggression of it. If it wasn't for that album I'd say this is definately the best album of the genre!

i have to say my gri[pe with this album is the middle passages in most songs....take lost to apathy for example.....I just wished they kept the same speed throughout the whole song........

I never used to like this album at all, but it's grown on me a lot. Still, The New Build is a rubbish opener.

I agree that The New Build is overrated, but are you actually serious about Am I 1? It's a pretty average song imo.

I am 1 has terrific keyboards and a sick verse.

So do most of DTs songs (except the chorus is usually better than the verse, but whatever). It's a good song, but I just find it quite standard stuff really
