You're right. I undestimated quite how much bad music you can take. Well done. i underestimate quite frequently how close minded (maybe picky is the better word) you are. this seriously hasn't lost one ounce of it's initial charm. New Surrender definitely lost some though

This is one of my favorite albums from them. It's got great songs like Godspeed and *Fin, very different than most of the bands/artists that I listen to.

Hey man, good to see you here. Album is good, a few songs are filler to me (ex. There Is No Mathematics to Love and Loss).

But I like that song CokeZero. Even though I do see your point, still I really like this band.

Oh I like the band too. *Fin is their best song, but overall, New Surrender and Never Take Friendship Personal are better.
Just because you like a band doesn't mean three of their albums deserve classic ratings. That's going a little far...

True, but when I buy the band's cds and listen to them a lot, I tend to give them classic reviews. Besides most of reviews are like that. I tend to be lenient towards bands/artists. Remember one of my nicknames: FANBOY! haha

If you use this site a lot, you will be exposed to a bunch of different music, and your music taste will change. At least it did with me anyway.
I had never even heard of Radiohead, Fightstar, or In Flames until I got here. It's different for everybody though. Just read the reviews and music lists to find different stuff to try. This Message Edited On 12.30.08

cokezero you've been here two days and errr radiohead and in flames are really famous - how had you not heard of them? also fightstar are pretty mainstream

Actually I've been here longer than you. For two years....
I just didn't make an account here.
Radiohead and In Flames are famous in the music world, but the common man probably has no idea outside of what's playing on the radio. I never knew about them until I came here. Fightstar is a Uk band that are not Mainstream in the U.S.

Haha, alright. I lied. This is my fifth account on here. I even have a few reviews posted on one of the other accounts (though they are pretty bad in my oppinion).
At the time of my joining, Radiohead was not played on the radio as In Rainbows was roughly a year away from release. They were probably played a tun in the Uk though.
Say what you want about Fightstar, I admit my music tastes really suck as I lean toward more mainstream stuff. I probably shouldn't be giving that guy advice....oh well.
