I hate most hip-hop/rap mostly because the genre has become overly generic with same lyrics about

cars bitches and drugs.

But wu tang is the shit.

Best rap/hip-hop = Wu Tang, GZA, Tupac, Biggie, Swollen Members, Sweatshop Union, Atmosphere, N.W.A,

Ice Cube.

I'm sure I missed a few but the above have metaphors and shit, which is something the genre typically

lacks, and is usually too straight forward or as I like to call it ALL FILLER NO SUBSTANCE

Do tell please.

I'm being serious all the people I know who like this genre play Lil Wayne and other stuff where I'm skeptical if the artist (if I dare call them that) even wrote their own lyrics/beat, but they def use auto tune because they suck.

I dig that you put GZA up there separate from Wu-Tang Clan. And if you're really going to make digs at artists who don't write their own shit, don't rip Weezy because, for better of for worse, dude's been writing for himself since he was like 13 years old.

Dude Lil Wayne swagger jacks more than anyone, and reuses his own lines a lot....more or less 90% of

his songs are recycled lyrics....but please tell me some more greats I'm overlooking.
