I love her voice. The assemblage of the band is great. These are some great epics. However, there's nothing really special about the lyrics.

This is a pretty good album in my opinion, although I was expecting the worst when I listened to the album first time. I mean, the opening three songs, even though they are very much 'love/hate' material, do have a stronghold over any other song evanescence has ever done. Not only that, but Amy Lee's vocals do come across as quite fitting regarding the flow of the other instruments. Of course the album isn't perfect. It does have a few mediocre tracks that seem to list endlessly on and on, which could be benefited had they been chopped from the album completely. These tracks I have in mind are 'Taking over Me' and 'Hello', but it's made up for with the last song, 'Whisper'. This is really what I think of the album, not trying purposefully to disagree with those who gave the album 'Poor' ratings.

that remains a bit shoutey...... This fits some bill. Nothing offensive. Nothing to challenge. Doesn't matter too much whether its
metal or not. It is what it is.......
