I remember Sullivan reminding me a bit like AFI of this era. They were a Tooth and Nail band though they never sounded overtly Christian if that is a turn off to anyone.
I only got the album from 2006 but apparently they put something out in 2014. Wikipedia doesn't say they broke up.

Wow I didn't think anyone would actually check my rec. Yea it's not as hard-core tinged as say this but 'Down Here We all Float' and some other songs do hit hard I think still.
That's the only one I heard/got (on cd actually).
