Yeah that EP is incredible. Love this album too, not sure if I necessarily like it more than Damage Done or Fiction but it's at least on par with those albums for me. Although there's definitely a few songs off this that I would take over any song from those 2.

Insanity's Crescendo yeah. That, Hedon, Zodijackyl Light, and Tongues were the ones I was referring to. But Insanity's Crescendo is tied with Lethe as my personal favorite, along with a few others. Way too hard for me to pinpoint just one DT song as their best lol

the simple fact that this has "insanity's crescendo" and "hedon" put it past several of their records

When it comes to melodeath I really love sprawling freeform neoclassical songwriting so the first three do the most for me
Their stuff after that is definitely my go-to for modern melodeath though, DT probably has the strongest discography out of any melodeath band
