If anything it's one of their most inventive. They tried a lot of new things on here that they hadn't really done previously, like the clean vocals in Last Light.

This grew on me a lot as well, it may be somewhat straight-forward at times but that only adds to how emotionally unbearable and dark this album can be.

cbmartinez, I don't think No Heroes was a bad album at all. However, I feel like it wasn't as coherent and well put together as their previous albums. Some tracks are really good though, like Vengeance, Trophy Scars and To the Lions. Also, lyrically, it is nowhere near as strong but I still think Jacob put it a really decent vocal performance.



Still, opinions are opinions, everyone has their own.

With soundscapes as barren and bleak as the poetry that they support, You Fail Me is a classic.
