menawati: just because an album is a classic doesn't mean it's the band's best album, just that it had
a big influence on other bands/popular culture/... at that time

examples:
Black Sabbath's s/t
Metallica's Black Album
Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast

etc

dont think this influenced anything really, it was just priest being influenced by the commercial

NWOBHM bands after they were influenced by priest sort of a full circle thing

I think this one and Unleashed in the East had a big impact stylistically with the leather dressing and stuff. In that sense these albums were very influential even though Sad Wings is on a different level.
