Blasphemous Rumours when they say "slashed her wrists" and you hear that xylophone flash, gives me shivers everytime. And that "upbeat" chorus jeez, I really mean it when I say it's my favorite Depeche song ever.

Yeah PtA is essential if you want more Depeche gloom. Also I wouldn't sleep on A Broken Frame, there's some pure melancholy in it and Shouldn't Have Done That has to be one of their most unique songs.
