Willie come on man. I mean the only viking metal albums I would consider on par with this are the last two Primordial albums, Sagas by Equilibrium, and Blood Fire Death by Bathory.

That's what I've noticed, too. The only Primordial album I like is Storm Before Calm.

That's easily my least favorite from them haha. I don't know though if you can't get into To the Nameless Dead, Sagas, or this then I don't know what to tell you really.

Sagas is a bad place to start with viking metal, you should start with something a lot less cheesy than that
but eh if you've checked all those out with no luck then I guess this just isn't for you
