yeah if you love this one I also recommend to check PtA (starts """happy""" but then it's not), Ultra and SGR. Also MftM too, it's the bridge between this one and Violator.
Also, if you love this album, I recommend to listen to the CD tracklist that includes Breathing in Fumes, But Not Tonight (extended version) and Black Day. Hardest 5.0

and yeah PTA starts with high tempo, then goes into this really dark groove later on. such great atmosphere on that album

There are various tracklists, technically the core album ends with New Dress. The one I'm referring to is the tracklist of the first CDs. But not the ones in America, because they have only But Not Tonight (not extended) after New Dress

How is it crazy to have the 2nd best (RYM-wise) as a favorite? It's their gloomiest and most emotional (which is subjective allright) and so it takes the cake for me.

I love this band to bits, Violator (so the common 1st) is about 4th for me and I still love it a lot.
