Amazing cd, definitively not a classic. The picture of the cd is awful, you should have picked one that was bigger. The cover is actually nice, I like it.

I could never get into Brand New, and what I heard of this, I probably wouldn't like this either.

Every time I read about "Not The Sun" I have to listen to it. It's hands DOWN the best track on the album, followed by 'The Archer's Bows Are Broken' and 'Limousine'. 5 Star Songs.

This is meh.
Not the soul sucking depression fest I was expecting, but I've heard better. Still good, but meh.

there's no band I've been more pleased with recently, their vocals, instrumentals, and the thought provoking lyrics have come so far since I stumbled upon them 6 years ago and they've truely evolved to make me appreciate many pieces of each tune. Beautifully constructed, impressively reviewed.

i dig the review, but it's definately feeling like one big run on scentence. Think of it this way... if you look at reviews in AP or Spin or Rolling stone, they don't go on about each song in detail. try to look at the album as a whole throughout the entire review, not song by song. another thing is something that makes a good review is also looking at the drawbacks or problems with the album. i just skimmed, but it felt like you think this album trumps any other pop punk album ever made. i love the album too, but there are some definate issues with it as well, which should be pointed out.
all in all, great review just some constructive criticism for ya.

Deja is noticebly better than this, but this is good too. Degausser and Jesus Christ are my fav. I'm glad they went for shorter song names in this album, I hate long names for songs )example P!AtD)

It's amazing how much Brand New has changed since Deja Entendu. I love this album, it's more mature yet still rocking.
|
| |
This is a 5 for me.
( I know I'll get hated for this) I thought DEja Entendu was horendous actually. They turned from mediocre (okay) pop-punk to some emo-depressed songs. with of course a bit o' screamo.
TDAGARIM, was just awesome. Jesus was the first song I heard on it and I loved. You guys saying it's pop-punk must have not really heard every song, or atleast tooken time to listen the music in it. The effects in the songs just astound me. "LImousine", has definately got to be my favorite song along with "Jesus", and "Sowing Season".
