Album Rating: 5.0
Apparently I had this rated as a 4 for years. Considering this is one of the albums I really latched onto growing up and have kept coming back to two decades later, that needed to change. I remember when I first got this on cassette because of Semi-Charmed life, and thinking the rest of the album was 'depressed people music.' Then Motorcycle Drive By grabbed my attention one day and I fell in love with the rest then.
Last three tracks especially are as perfect as alternative rock gets imo

I swear I love the last three more and more every time I hear them. So much raw emotion in those songs

God of Wine is the best

Album Rating: 5.0
Also the older I get now the more I can relate to almost every line on this album. I've never even been on a motorcycle though.
God of Wine though, holy shit. there's a year of my life I couldn't ever have written a better song about personally.

The Background will always be my favourite here, what a song.
