I couldn't understand the hatred towards where boys fear to tread, the lyrics are amazing, and the rocket launcher effect of doom in the song makes the song even more awesome.

just relistened to that song, it’s great. i love how some of the songs have a genuine metal feel and then the next track could have a really tender and beautiful sound

Yeah billy isn’t really a great singer, i’ll give ya that. The songwriting is so strong though, once you get used to it, it’s easy to overlook

'Truly one of the greatest albums of all time. In my top 3 ever.'
Might be my favourite ever tbh. Said this a while back on this thread and got laughed at but fuck them guys.
In terms of 10/10 songs I would list Tonight Tonight, 1979, XYU, Ruby and Zero (one of the greatest short rockers ever) as my choices.
Arms of Sleep, Bullet, By Starlight are 9.5's imo.

Just listened to tonight for the first time in 5 years and it was actually lovely. The music video rules too

How come Gyro keeps dissing albums then after listening to them go "oops I didn't give it proper attention." Same story with mbv yesterday.

I do the same on a regular basis, I just don't usually rate the album until after I diss it.

You can't spell opinions without onions.
That said, calling this average is objectively weird.
