I see. Well, I just can't agree here. I'll admit that some wankery here is good, but overall there is too little impact with too many notez for me. And also Dream Theater seem to know their formula a little too well on this point. It's just not interesting at all and lacks the energy DoT had, in other words: boring.

See, but that's kinda the selling point for me when it comes to both this and DoT. I have absolutely no problem with them playing it safe if it prevents another disaster like The Astonishing from happening again
