This was sitting in my spotify liked songs for 4 years and I finally decided to jam that playlist and was VERY surprised this went under my radar for so long. This band is as close to my ideal for extreme metal as anything I've ever come across.

Always a good time, especially live.
Dave is such a sick guitarist though. I mean his skill is out of this world, but I love his style. Also it's quite impressive how effortlessly he plays that shit live, hell sometimes he even does his solos faster than he does on the album. He's the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place.

This has really grown on me since that first spin, some big-time riffs on here. Interesting varied songwriting as well, there’s never a dull moment. Need to dig deeper into these guys (beyond this and EiF), I hear they’re a consistent band.

Yeah pretty much, 4's and 4.5's for me. Their debut is the only one I've rated less than that, but it's still a solid 3.5.
I'd probably save that one for last but you really can't go wrong with any other Revocation album. Don't forget their Teratogenesis EP, one of their best imo.
