Never been a massive Unearth fan, I thought the March was decent but suffered from poor production

and vocal performance. I especially disliked the vocals on previous releases not because they

sucked, but because they became rather sterile and repetitive; variating little from the constant, in

your face, one pitch yell.



BUT damn this album is great! Although the talky bits and gang vocals were there before, in this

release they are utilized in the right sections. With the addition of Cleans(by the As I Lay Dying

Dude?) my problems with vocals were completely alleviated. The real star of the show here is the

stellar guitar work. My god, the harmonies pull the quality of each song up twofold. The melodicism

contrast the song sections so well that breakdowns are actually CRUSHING(unlike some bands today).
