this is hinting at what happened on vacation - a cohesive, semi-conceptual album. Scrambles was pure fanservice. not that it doesn't rock, I mean all btmi! is at least a 4, but this is sooooooo good for the story it tells.

I think Scrambles was more a rectification of the ska spasticity of the band's pre-Get Warmer sound with the newfound digestibility that they obtained on Get Warmer.

Even though I feel it's objectively a 3.5, I love it more than some of my 4s.

This would be a 3.5 by BTMI's standards, but on it's own it is a 4.

That's forreal the only argument against it. It's not as good s their other stuff. I'm so goddamn in love with the t/t though.

Scrambles is pretty consistent for me, but the few opening and closing tracks do take the cake.

I mean, this album is fucking sweet. I don't know though. For some reason it sticks out as their worst.
