Personally I prefer it to the Wall and the Final Cut cos Roger actually lays down some sweet melodies alongside his amazing lyrics on Amused whereas the Wall/Final Cut are basically all lyrics and no melodies. Did you jam it with the lyrics?

It's basically about all of life as Roger usually writes about, and he pretty much has a go at everything - war, God, television, you name it. What ties it together is basically this theme of aliens coming to Earth and finding all our dead bodies around our television sets, and they conclude that we amused ourselves to death, hence the title. Fuckin crazy shit.
