nah he's pretty venerated within the math rock scene, and his work with Death Grips has been praised too

I think, Zach Hill is fairly well known if we're just talking the underground music corners of the internet and not all of the public sphere. He's been putting out music for near 20 years, I'd hardly call him an unknown. His math rock band Hella, Team Sleep, VVaves, various collabs with other artists. Definitely a man with fans.
