Read that one before, they may as well have said ‘instrumentally this is decent but I can’t stand the vox, guess they’re just not my thing’ because there is SOME praise but then they just rant about the vox & Maiden, why are Maiden relevant? Haha.

has anyone ever listened to this while not feeling like shit?

Album Rating: 4.5
Yes, quite recently.
It's still cathartic in a bizarre nostalgic sort of way. In other words I remember being in a bad place yet listening to this doesn't bring the sadness back, it just reminds me that I beat it & this album could be the soundtrack to that feeling... blowing it to pieces with cacophonous ferocity.

I especially love the first half, or the part that enters a minute or so in, the alternating chords are so gorgeous and vaguely...baroque ?? Just good as hell

The combo of hell to pay - homewrecker doesn't get enough attention. Wish they would play those songs live more often and also possibly together

Don't know if I could rank the tracks on here because of how it all flows as one seamlessly cohesive entity. That combo is killer though.
