if this didn't have machine messiah it'd probably be a 3 for me but this is so much better than everything that came after

I dont remember this being this good.

I don't even miss Anderson in Machine Messiah, but his absence is felt as the album goes on. Still, the Buggles pull it off really nicely.

"I don't even miss Anderson in Machine Messiah"
Agreed. Horn actually sounds like Anderson on it

yeah man, I had to check twice that I was reading the correct review for the album lol, the similarity in his voice in that track is uncanny.

Into the Lens might be my fav due to all the time-signature changes and wank, but the "I am, I am, I am a camera" chorus is killing me. So bad.

It's so stupid, I love it

discog walk: visit on the remastered 2013 ed. So refreshing to play this after Tormatos. Much better. Awakening from a temporary creative coma.
One of the strongest comeback after a failure LP in all the music industry, simple fact as that. Up there in my Top-3 Yes album. One of my best vinyl buy back in early 80s.
In retrospect, my 4 rating is too low. bum5ing. From my perspective, deserve it. The last masterwork of this legendary band. No weak songs, love it from start to finish.
Still many spine chills, even after decades.

Yeah, I might bump my rating to a 4.5 soon. This one never gets old, and is still quite underrated
