This is an excellent background album for working or gaming. We Are If We Dare is my favorite on here.

That’s awesome! I’ve been revisiting this recently and I stand by my score. It’s such a massive, dynamic package of music. Although I don’t know if all of the intermissions were warranted, I’d rather reward the ambition and risks taken here than criticize them for it.

it's funny because the songwriting itself doesn't strike me as ambitious, it's a pretty straightforward package of alt-metal atmosphere and melodies
they're very good atmospheres and melodies but it's definitely too long

some of the vocal melodies on here are really strong, i agree length is a daunting thing but this record has helped with getting through 8hr work days without fiddling around with music too much.
this record is still one of my favorites of the year for that reason - no frills, nothing groundbreaking, but a really strong package that I can throw on and get 90ish minutes of fun out of.

Man, I love this album. It’s so easy to get lost within it. I DO believe there are too many interludes, but I love the ambition.

This album is so good you can just throw it on shuffle and it’s nearly banger after banger. I love stumbling on a band that almost shares your “musical DNA”.
Also, it bothers me that bands like this will probably never breakthrough or get the kind of exposure I think they deserve. It’s a terrible feeling of being trapped, like nothing you can do as a fan will move the needle in any meaningful way for the band despite writing a review, buying merch, etc. It’s easily the worst part of being a music fan.
