Only track I’m not huge on is The Old Ones are With Us. The beginning and ending sections kick ass, but most of the middle section kinda drags, even despite that unintentional throwback to Vastness and Sorrow

Yeah, same. I think it will grow on me though, still a lot to love. I can't get over the doomy section in Angrboda.

I agree, Bandcamp codes should be the norm with vinyl releases.

Von Till is on this thing for like a minute idk how it could bother you guys that much.

Just an example of how forced this album feels. And it's boring.

Both guest vocalists feel forced imo

ps: the last song is sick, especially the second half. I want to hear it live so badly.

finally got that damn download.

anyway I'm liking that this chills out a lot during the songs instead of just having random choppy interlude pieces.

I agree it has a good flow to the interludes. I want to hear every one of these songs live, especially Serpent's Eye and the closing track. I feel like the tracks on this album have an energy that will translate really well in a live setting, more so than their previous releases, I'm sure that was intentional on the part of the band, a lot like what they did with Black Cascade.

I wouldn't say the guest vox feel forced, but I can see why one might. They don't add a ton, but I thought they were at least fairly effective rather than an afterthought.

beautiful vinyl. I'm a sucker for anything translucent or clear.

Yeah I like clear a lot as well, I think the only clear record I have is Pillorian's Obsidian Arc. After collecting a lot of colored presses over the years I'm kind of starting to move back towards basic black, especially if I feel a colorful record doesn't really fit the album.

Not quite right but it's a reflection of what people actually think vs. the ones who need to justify their tastes in bm.
