Do they? Other than the album cover I don't hear any specific influence from Chevelle. I will give this album more listens once it comes out though.

A lot of the Chevelle comparisons, for me anyway, falls under guitar tones and the way certain riffs are executed.

I second that opinion
they've done similar ideas on Until We Have Faces

Then again, it's not that hard to compare the two as they are pretty similar styles of music.

They say they're writing it but other than that it's non-existent

all sources tell me ben is an asshole that is hard to work with, hence firing all his bandmates a couple years ago.
But hope soon

The drummer technically left but yeah. BB is still my fav band of all time regardless.

haha true that. Mark (the old bassist) was doing a great project called "The Vampire Factory", they old released a teaser track and it was rich with awesome 80's vibes, but their Facebook has since disappeared and I haven't heard out from them, so it must have gone belly up. Shame.

both Aaron and Mark are doing this project with a really stupid name, though I can't really recall what it was.

Dog Champion or whatever the fuck its called? That disbanded years ago. Aaron is in a band called
Gentleman East and Mark wasn't doing anything util this Vampire Factory project. As far as I know.
