@Silent

I mean, one of the things that attracted me to BMS was how you were kind of blending 60s folk, but twisting with fuzzed out pseudo-psych, drone elements. I liked the first half of "Flagrant Gadis", it was kind of hypnotic and trippy, but then it dissolved into this avant-garde atmosphere that mad eme lose interest. It's not that the song is bad, that wasn't my point, but rather that I just didn't particularly 'get it'. That's the thing with experimental stuff, you either get it or you don't.

Like Havey said, you offered quite a bit of variety (among your styles anyway). As I said, I thought you did a great job and this may be your best effort yet.

Personally dig the fuzzed out sections. The ending of Flagrant blew my mind. Very Boris-like. That's one thing I like about this release that wasn't very prevalent on Blue Moon.

It was much more folk than this. Some of your catchiest was on there, but this is a clear progression into more advanced realms. From one listeners perspective, at least. The production on this is also so so so much nicer. Was there a big difference in how you recorded this one as opposed to the Moon?

yea the folk and fuzzed out drone passages were completely separately contained throughout Blue Moon Saiyeed for the most part tho.

Yeah, that's whatI meant, did it word it that way though. That's actually one of the reasons why I think this is your best, because of the blends all of your ideas. For example "Locust Leaves", it progresses from folk to drone in such a natural way. On paper, that might sound like a bizarre idea destined for failure, but you pull it off impressively. I haven't heard too many artists do that, so I was quite impressed by that. I wont lie, there's a few tracks that I didnt care for (like "Flagrant"), but overall it was a solid effort. You've really grown as a songwriter.

LAAAAATE post.

I see what you mean, pot. It is good to move beyond the restrictive borders that have been and continue to be imposed on music. I guess my thing was I felt a bit underwhelmed by the last half of that final track. The beginning sounded it going to some kind of bizarro catchyfest, but just went quiet instead.
