This was the last record of theirs I listened to and it was fucking dreadful. But 3/4 of the new songs are really good so I'm cautiously optimistic about the album, especially since Phil's cleans are out of this world. He's been one of my favourite deathcore vocalists since his unreal performance at the Mitch Lucker Memorial show, and now I'm even more in love with him. That dude needs to sing more, he's really fucking good at it.

yeah this one bored the shit out of me. I don't like to make brash predictions like this, but there's a good chance The Valley might become their magnum opus in my book. holy FUCK "When a Demon Defiles a Witch" is incredible.

Yeah it looks like it will be a redefining record for them in a way that Suicide Silence's should have been. They're evolving in a way that feels really seamless. Only thing that worries me is Brimstone is pure trash and yet they chose to release that early... Third Depth has been on repeat for me though, wow what a banger.
