Is Kurt Vile solo as good as his stuff with TWOD tommy?

afaik kurt only played on their debut (which i haven't heard) before leaving the band but since you dug lost in the dream so much i'm 99% sure you would dig wakin on a pretty daze, slightly more relaxed and less dreamy but very similar vibez

good summer jam road trip windows down music (see the track 'wakin on a pretty day')

smoke ring for my halo is also very good

Nah he's on a couple of songs from Slave Ambient I'm fairly sure, great album that one but no LITD
Jamming that song now, sounds lovely and like I got onto it just in time for the second day of summer :D

I dont care how shit he is live (i dont think he has ever really been a singer of any real ability) but he gets it perfect, HIS way on record, and the songwriting is quality, unique and instantly identifiable. to me, thats far more special.
