See, I don't understand why whenever a band just sounds a little bit more complex than others, they get labelled "technical." In reality, yeah they have one or two gnarly riffs, but its pretty basic riffing.

"Idk calling it untechnical would be quite a stretch too" There's a difference between (my opinion) being a little bit more complicated than, say, Bullet For My Valentine (which it only half is), and being actually technical like Cannibal Corpse or Suffocation. Sure, this is like somewhere in between, but it's not what I'd refer to as technical at all. It's just got that slight edge to it. Hell, nothing on here is harder (but is on the same level as) than, for instance, that fast riff to Raining Blood or something like that. Now that isn't difficult, but its got that edge to it, which is where I see this falling.
Again though, it's my opinion. I play Necrophagist, so my bar is probably higher
