This is without a doubt worse than F# for me. There are moments on here that are so fucking incredible, but every second of F# has such undeniable atmosphere (not to mention it has East Hastings), and as a whole package this just doesn't hold up to F# IMO. Still one of the best post-rock albums ever though.

I got high and fell asleep to this, and I woke up at the section in the first song just after the Amazing Grace part where all the strings sound sinister. It's fair to say I tripped badly.

Yea this album has some beautiful sections and truly eerie and creepy sections. If you use your imagination while listening, you create a story of your own.
