ram and band on the run are solid records and deep childhood nostalgia jams but pauls stuff has overall aged badly for me both solo and beatles

needa jam the remix of this bc its my favorite solo record by miles

gamechanger for me. just being able to actually hear all the instruments on Wah Wah and Let it Down is a relevation already, but the softer songs are night and day from the original. they sound so... warm

The highlights on this album are amazing but it's way too fucking long.

its probably one side too long, whatever it is early 70's indulgence, plus he had almost 3 LP's worth of Beatles stuff they would not let him use, becasue he was not john or paul

I think that was the angle they use at release, "Beatles songs you never heard"

The instruments are a little clearer in the new mix but I don't like how dry the vocals are in the mix. Prefer the version I have

been jamming the new mix quite a lot lately. half tempted to 5 if not for i dig love which has always been really filler-y for me. if only i live for you had made the cut instead but even still a double album with only one skip is a rarity (tho truthfully my sweet lord doesnt amaze me either but that might have to do with overplay, plus the first minute or so is great its just a lil repetitive)
