That doesn't affect his music though. He's obviously a complete piece of shit, but a lot of his stuff is awesome.

This is one of the few albums, where every time I give it a spin, it sounds like a different record.

damn this is pretty crazy like a black metal Dillinger escape plan or something.

I really wanna like black metal, but even the best the genre has to offer usually leaves me only mildly entertained.

If you've listened to Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and still was only mildly entertained then I see no hope for you.

I enjoy musicianship, and don't say Varg was a good musician be he isn't. Sure I can listen to BM, sometimes get some kind of bleak emotion while I'm spinning it, but it doesn't change the fact that the whole genre is pretty much so ironic its unbearable.

"Evil" music gets cheesy, just like fucking bible thumpers coming door to door. Theyre really not much different. Both try and choke you with their ideologies.
