Behemoth. There's lots of Deicide, Immolation, Cannibal Corpse, and some The Black Dahlia Murder in there too.

Oh I almost forgot, they stole a riff (consciously or not) from Decapitated-"Post-Organic". I don't remember which song it's in though. This Message Edited On 07.08.08

Even though the brees on Doom were over-used, at least that album was decent to listen to originally and had a somewhat original sound (at the time), compared to this trash.

Probably done to sell out, like many bands, who seem to write lighter and softer, more radio/tv friendly music. Not saying that this album is light or soft, but it lacks the intensity of their previous releases (Doom and their original Demo, which is the best work, IMO).

Volt2187, calling this radio friendly music is calling Gorgoroth a boy band.

not as bad as it is rated tbh.
it has some really catchy riffs, ie. the first 3 songs and the divine falsehood.. the ambient songs are fitting and enjoyable, and add an evil sort of atmosphere to this brutal album. and the rest of the album i admire for the guitar tone and brutality, even though it is generic as fuck.

i was kind of disapointed with this, there wasn't anything i could latch on to personally, some strong musicianship though,

Yeah Tenacious D rules. I really don't find anything special about the vocalist on this album tbh. Album is still pretty good though. Gets boring after a while, but still good.
