Not horrible. All their albums verge
from average to decent. I still
occasionally pop on ten thousand fists.

nah from my memory of them some songs sound beyond awful now, not really interested in seeing if i'm wrong tho

This is probably the most mature-sounding Disturbed record. It has some real nice melodies and is mostly bereft of some of the cringe that accompanies their other albums. As I've grown up this is the only Disturbed album I consistently come back to.

Let's count how many times Motherfucker is said in Liberate

Album is timeless.
So damn good.
Was in high school when this record dropped. It pretty much made a rock-hard mark in rock and roll when it dropped in September 2002

My man, you left off three songs of the album, you probably did not spend much time on those.
Solid 4 from me. Best songs being "Liberate", "Remember" and "Darkness".

It's so weird that this album isn't their highest given how many interesting (for Disturbed) songs there are on it.

This is still real catchy but Indestructable and 10,000 fists are the ones that I listen to whenever I'm in a Disturbed mood

Could never get into Indestructible. 10,000 Fists was pretty dope but this one had a little more edge which I appreciated.

Sometimes it feels like they don't remember that Darkness exists when they talk about melody in their new music. But turns out they do. Right off Blabbermouth:
"Melody has always been in our wheelhouse, but when you hear the rest of this record, you'll notice a very tangible left turn. It's markedly different than anything we've put out. The closest thing to some of the stuff on this record would be 'Darkness' from the 'Believe' record. We haven't tried anything like that since then. Now there's half a record full of it. To me, these are some of the most powerful songs we've ever written."
