I'm kinda not into it, unfortunately. It's musically fine but nothing is really sucking me in.

It’s a grower, which is even more of an ask given how long it is!
Worth it when it clicks though

jammed like half of this last night before accidentally falling asleep and it was ok. a lot of parts of songs that i rlly like but im not rlly vibing w their insistence to change tonal regions like 3 times in every song, which is not rlly a problem but since theres sooo much album it j feels like im burning through too many individual tiny ideas that sound pretty similar to each other
vocalist is v good tho

I'm legitimately curious, for those that would trim this down to half what would your tracklisting be?

I think everything is worth listening to except mebbe an interlude or two

^Agreed. After investing more time with this I think I'd leave it as a double album.
Side A: I would switch "Inexerol" and "Twisting of the Points" places just because I think it flows better that way. Also "E.O.T.W. is probably the weakest song for me.
Favorite songs: "End With Me", "Gather Your Bones", "Inexerol".
Side B: I find the songs to be stronger here overall, but it's also a bit bloated. I'd probably remove the interludes/instrumentals "Tangent" which oddly doesn't even flow into "Away Stars" (or place it before "At Nothing") and "Collapse at Limit" (too long and goes nowhere). "If Only Given Time" goes for too long as well. All proper songs here are very solid, though.
Favorite songs: "Phantom Pain", "Energy Vampires", "The Dream Disease", "Bleak Machine".

This album is far too long to be a "grower".

I would say albums that are longer are more likely to be growers because they take longer to absorb.
I found that with think and Kendrick this year for sure.

Growers are usually dense and filled with a plethora of ideas and narritives like kendrick albums imo and this doesn't feel so much like that, there's just a lot more of it. It's not bad but nothing is leaping out at me outside moments and occasionally songs. Dryspit is pretty cool but a lot of this album isn't really moving me much. Might check their debut though.

I get what you’re saying but I felt that way after one listen, interested but nothing jumping out, and I felt that with Mr Morale too!
Theres a lot more going on here than first listen, there are quite a lot of layers. It reminds me of how whenever I listened to SNW by Deftones on different speakers/headphones I found extra things.

I still feel that with Mr. Morale tbh even though I can tell there was a lot of thought put into it, it's well made, cohesive and all that there's just not a lot for me to latch onto, whereas something like SNW I already liked it and all those extra layers are like a garnish adding to the overall meal that make it more appealing.
I think this is more in line with a nice buffet of familiar foods that I enjoy but it's just missing something that makes me think about it after I finished eating and I'm really hungry atm but I hope it makes sense. It's just a taste palette thing and maybe this will taste better someday just not for me right now.

Maybe I should rephrase my initial comment. What I meant is that the album doesn't really have any moments that I feel like I need to return to. And I've sat through it twice. To your point Shemson, I would agree that longer albums tend to be growers. Two of my favorite albums this year are "Mr. Morale..." and "XI: Bleed Here Now" but when an album is longer and a grower there needs to be AT LEAST one song that I want to return to and that I can use as a jumping off point to other songs on the album. But with this there just isn't anything that I feel like I need to hear again, which is probably just a personal preference. I think this album would have been more digestible as two separate releases, even if months apart from each other.
