Lost in a Lost World, Death of the Celts, Days of Future Past and Hell on Earth are my highlights so far.

death of the celts is amazing, epic stuff

the two singles were actually the weakest songs on the album, makes no sense they would not release some of these other epic songs first.

I love the riff 4 minutes into Time Machine
Trademark Maiden melodies. Nothing better

I like the 2 singles as well tbh, title track is a good intro as well.
Disc 2 is where the epicness full starts to kick in, though.

Alright album on first listen. Needs trimming. Kind of what I expected songs are to long a bit repetitive etc.

I don't find any of the songs repetitive at all really.
Maybe some parts slightly meander, didn't hear any repetitiveness though.

Pleb 2000s maiden just doesn't really do it for me other than brave new world. That record is great other than that the songs are just a bit proggy and long without song quality. I just don't think they wrote great songs 90 percent of the time after brave and they just drag forever to my ears.

The riff in Days of Future Past is all I wanted.
Listening to Celts now and Steve has literally queued three different bass riffs and a keyboard before Bruce even started to sing lol

Insta 4 because Maiden, and go from there......i'm only on the opening track, but love how it has its own vibe compared to the rest of their discography [2]

Starting with AMOLAD, Iron Maiden wrote albums with standard quality, but songs don't really stand out from each other

Amen brother

I’m going to have to listen in chunks.
Songs 1-4 are bloody great.

Hardly even recognised the keys, don't know what the big fuss is about tbh haha.
This might be best Maiden since AMOLAD for me, loving it.

Parchment really kicks in during the ending. From Bruce's "Meet me theeeeere" onwards is really fucking good. The beginning still feels a bit sluggish.

I will have to say I enjoyed the second half of the album more than I was expecting. I'll have to give it another spin tomorrow, but it seems to be the band's best album since A Matter of Life and Death. Harris sounds more inspired this time around.

The closer is immense.

I wanted to make a joke that Steve Harris should not be allowed write songs on his own but Hell on Earth is proof that he still has tank in the engine.
