I tried to get into this. I tried. But damn this band just has not been the same since Garrison and Alan left. Where Augment and Impulse felt layered and complex, these last few albums have just felt...boring. They aren't bad necessarily but they just don't scratch the same itch.

They're more progressive/alt-rocky now IMO. its not chugga chugga low bass end and masculine af delivery with jesse's soaring cleans and leads and then Alan's technicality and Garrison's cool lyrics
