sint: danger days is largely really good, does it feel like a band running out of gas a little? sure. but it is still MCR at the end of the day so they have a pretty high quality floor.
there's still some real jams on par with their best - the only hope for me is you, save yourself i'll hold them back, summertime, the kids from yesterday, vampire money, bulletproof heart?? it's a bit too cheery for my cynical ass at times, but for what it is, it's some of my favorite "happy" music.

New album deserves a review.
Stop justifying your listening pleasure Venin and review the Whaler

I would like a whaler review. Enjoying the whaler more than I dug this.

"it does have precisely two unforgivable inclusions"
lol imma take my chance and say its oasis and mbv
tbh i don't vibe with morning glory that much anymore and at times feel like their debut is better, might demote

"lowkey it's just how corm's 5s read like mostly peak "rym approved cuts", i'm more shocked there's no black midi or bcnr than by anything here."
i dont know why you keep bringing that site up, if anything half my picks do reflect that i've been on this very corner of the internet for over a decade
and for the record i pretty much dislike both of those bands even if bm did blow me away when i saw em

Oasis is defs one - Loveless is always a forgivable 5 though unless you're one of those Exists At The Expense Of Other Gaze insufferables, and you are not!
Where's my link to that metal alb I'm supposed to be jamming HUH
Review for the Whaler is somewhere in between fucking unreadable and totally finished but will drop soon

whenever i see a lot of people's top picks and it's like they're all the most "acclaimed" / "highly rated" i can't tell if they're doing it for the approval or if they just so happen to naturally agree. souvlaki isn't the best slowdive album but because its a 4.3 here its that one bound to pop up before the others like just for a day and pygmalion. like damn, are there NO albums that are genuinely "underrated" that are classics to ya? Same energy as underrating Secret Samadhi (the better album from Live) just because Throwing Copper got more success.

Drawing the 50% of your 5s chart that isn't rym-certified from extremely obvious Hot Topic classics does not qualify to pull that card on literally anyone ever

Ngl I'm just waiting for the best MCR album to finally get bolded there I'll legitimately stop dunking on them when that happens

Also fyi johnny I've been getting more and more exclusive with my outright 5's so my 4.5's would be a better judge. Probably should've done that with Cormano too but meh.
Edit: just did and ugh i dont know if ill ever get it with nearer my god

I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love
As much as I like Danger Days it's not their best.

Thank God. I Brought is a fine pick. Nice work.

Yea it's sitting at a 3.4 over there and I'm just hoping someday it (and Full Collapse for that matter) both get bolded.

bullets having a 3+ rating on rym at all is a shock and quite silly. take those victories where they come.
