Ludens is ok. Doesn't hit as hard as the rest but still decent melody.

The lyrics are alright, what would you expect in music like this? Dear Diary is pretty hilarious.

“This band is so uneven and it will be their downfall“
It’s been a super slow downfall so far tho

Yeah the lyrics in the closer are pretty awful by their standards, surprised Amy Lee went along with it too.
Wish that instrumental was longer, was pretty sweet

I love this album but I am at the point where BMTH can do anything and it will turn out well. Imo they are easily the most versatile band in the scene and inarguably three most influential and important still working. This record is the best material since Sempiternal imo. Sure many will disagree but that’s yeh err I’m at with this band

Next release will be a trap/dance-y mix. Calling it now

The closer with Amy Lee is honestly one of the most moving songs I've heard in a while. I know it's a syrupy ballad but it stops me in my tracks when I hear it. Perfectly captures the horrible sinking feeling of a relationship slipping away (even though conceptually it's about humans & the mother nature), and the duet is fantastic.
