I love how this band finally managed to shed their Tool similarities and became a confident prog metal bamd in their own right. While still retaining the influences.

Might be my favorite Soen so far behind Cognitive

First Soen album I've heard and got me completely hooked.
Where should I go from here?

I’d say Lykaia. It’s pretty groove oriented and got some good riffs and melodies

Excellent album, I needed some spins to get it but it grew a lot on me.

Man it's so sad to see this band going down so bad... New album feels like a joke, moreso when you spin this and realize it's the same band wtf...
Have to mention one of the best soundoffs I've read in a long time by another sput user: In his review of Imperial, Fernando Alves referred to Soen as "an old friend we keep inviting over". But now it feels like that friend is overstaying their welcome.

Apart from the ballads which are embarrassing, I enjoyed the new one. They are not getting worse or better, they're stagnant in the same dynamic for 3 albums but it seems they're comfortable there so (shrug)
