Agreed. I had 6 (believe it or not) 5s for this year. I lowered two a few weeks back to 4.5 simply because time didn't permit them to stay in such a revered category of records. They wore off ever so slightly for a variety of reasons. The romance always wears off eventually and that's when records reveal their true colours.

I'm weird with 5s and almost never 5 anything the year it comes out (I think I 5'd Go Farther in Lightness around the end of last year). I'm fine with being fluid with other ratings though.

this is quite different than in shallow seas. Overall, the harsh vocals are almost nonexistent at times, but the songwriting is just so damn good. Their best since shallow seas or the question without a doubt
