Mmmm so many good songs. Bed of Nails has better lyrics, but I like the feeling of Albatross more- one of those tracks that hit home pretty quickly.

it's a shame because there are some great tracks on here, and others that have potential to be great, but it lacks the punches of rhythm and melody of all their other records

I feel like, aside from maybe 2 songs, it's lacking almost everything that made them great. There are a few songs on here that flat-out suck, imo. I hate that they went out like this.

yeah i do too, their other albums are all excellent or classic. have you seen the tracklist for their double live LP coming out next year? it's really heavy on stuff from boy king and it kills me

Whyyyyy!? That really really sucks. I get that it's their newer stuff, but from what I've seen the overall reception to this was lukewarm compared to prior releases. There's no heart in this as far as I can tell.
