It's interesting how divided this album is. Normally when there is a "bad" song on a CD a whole lot of people can agree on it but here it seems that everyone is divided on pretty much every song except for "Island" and "Atlas". I don't know whether or not that's a good thing but it was just an observation. I personally don't think there is a "bad" song... just some that I have to be in a certain mood for.

This has grown on me, but I think it's going to stay at a 3.5. My biggest complaint about the album is that I feel like some of the songs feel lacking in energy though they're all composed/written well.
But I have to say, the entire album flows extremely well. That's probably my favorite aspect about it.

I really love the sound of this record. i'm all about the drums here. not the best coheed but a lot more solid than I thought it'd be. You've got spirit kid actually sounds good in the context of the album, and i thought that song was pretty disappointing for a while. way2go, heed

You Got Spirit, Kid definitely grew on me. Was certain it would be the worst off here but now I've grown accustomed to it. Still think the lyrics aren't particularly great though.

I prefer YotBR. At least it took some risks and tried to be a little different. It sounds like nothing else in Coheed's catalog. But this just sounds like a watered down version of the Afterman records.
