I guess it's just not really an issue for me since i tend to listen to really fast stuff. Nile have some pretty long albums but the riffs are constantly changing except on the 1-2 slower songs they have, so i don't get bored.



and idk...to answer the question... i would definitely take 10-20 more minutes of this album. guess i just like hearing new riffs.

How is it that specifically metal albums should not have the same pitfalls than other genres in terms of length?

Not seeing the point here and "more songz = more riffz = good" is not something I can agree with that generally.

When did i say more song = more riffs = good? I said more songs = more riffs. That's pretty much a fact unless they are literally all the same riffs which is never a thing. I like hearing more riffs. I like hearing new riffs. IDGAF how long an album is...I'll listen to it in multiple sessions.

Especially when the riffs are basically variations on a theme....

That point does not really give the argument any more weight, though.
