Fine...review convinced me to give this a go. I still think I've outgrown this band though.

I feel like this is their most aggressive record. Jon Mess sounds more pissed off than he does on anyother record and theres a few quite dramatic riffs

Really Mort? I thought it lacked a certain heaviness that was present in a few of their other records
Though I agree that Jon sounds even more maniacal than usual

Well i guess i found amy aggression on AS a bit artificial and fake, Happiness lacks harsh vocals for the most point (and will swans harsh vocals are just too weird to take as aggressive plus lyrically i cant remember him belting out anything that had any impact lyrically) dbm2 was just to carefree and noodly and self titled only gets pissed off on People You Know

Dbm1 comes close and so does the ep but other that yeah its this

Plus jons raspy vocals always seemed to take focus away from the lyrics for me, and bring more attention to his style

Review is truly one of your better ones lately. I chuckled at the opening and you said a ton in a small amount of space. Only complaint is that last sentence, like you're really going to end the review by saying "his vocals grew on me?" Would be a much more summative statement if you just got rid of everything after that hyphen.
