I will be hitting up Fragile Hope again soon, but I remember thinking it was a little rough in spots
Been a bit tho. I typically only listen to this and B&C

I think each album has been consistently great including the first EP

Fragile Hope > Blessed and Cursed >>>>> rest
|
| |
Relistening I find Ed quite solid on Blessed and Cursed, but his Fragile Hope performance really irks me. He's growing on me as I listen to the new track but Paul's voice is still much more pleasing to me, has more bite, not quite so shrill.

"Fragile Hope > Blessed and Cursed >>>>> rest"
Yeah, pretty much

Man I cant stand the vocalist on this album, it just sounds so devoid of emotion to me

The riffs are shite too
|

the vocals seem to have an extra layer of production over them, it takes away so much of the emotion.
wouldnt call riffs shite, but definetly not as good as before

Gibbs on vocals >>>>>>>>>>>>
Fragile Hope needs a remaster if it wants to compete with B&C.

Dunno man, the vocals on devastator preheat my oven

How does one listen to the back half of Devastator and not get feels from the vocals

I prefer the Green's vocals to Gibbs' overall. Ed's cleans were really annoying at times but overall both are great.

This is the guy from Arusha Accord? Nice, they have some good stuff. Didn't realize it was the same dude

Gotta thank you for mentioning that band, I had never heard of them and I'm currently working my way through their stuff and loving it.

Glad to help, Durzzo! I really like Arusha Accord. Pretty diff than this, tho, ha. They are one of the more tech/prog/mxc whatever you want to call them bands that I am pretty fond of. They released an EP that was solid in 2018 so I think they are still a thing. Guessing he is doing double duties in two bands that like to take their time to release stuff since it was almost a decade between their LP and Juracan
I didn't even realize it was him until that news article popped up for these guys today

Dude sounds better in Arusha than here, waaaay better

Having listened to the new track, I just can't agree. Having them on the same track highlights it even more so. Paul Green is a much better vocalist - to me anyway.
