This and a natural disaster are probably their most consistent in a while

Man what about Weather Systems? That shit was tight as fuck. But yeah, I enjoy A Natural Disaster more
than WHBWH too, it's just something about the atmosphere on there that's hard to describe, but it's
amazing. Plus it's got the song with the best lyrics ever - Pulled Under at 2000 Metres a Second.

Weather systems has all the same missteps as WHBWH but doesn't reach the same highs, this is just consistent and enjoyable like a natural disaster

"i'm not sure i agree with that ocean, i think their most consistent release is either the silent enigma or judgement"
I understand why one would like Judgement the best, but I never did. I don't find it as emotionally involved as a lot of people say it is... it's still remarkably consistent though. Definitely one of their better ones.
As for The Silent Enigma, it's awesome but just a bit too uneven for me.
IMO, A Natural Disaster is lyrically their best, but WHBWH is the most musically accomplished

Heavily edited this review, but tried to keep a lot of the same language overall.

Not jammed this since its release, gonna have to change that.

yeah I dug the fuck out of this when it came out but I haven't jammed it in well over a year

Haha pretty sure all our ratings have dropped since this was first released. The few albums before this are definitely better.

I think I would like this a lot better if it didn't just suddenly change its style two thirds of the way through. It feels like 2 EPs rather than like 1 full-length

I love a lot of songs here though regardless

Agreed, though albums like We're Here and Judgement do have a lot more weight behind them than this.
